Vanderpump Rules: The fantasy land of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright
By Amanda Cline
We are still working towards the Vanderpump Rules fantasy destination wedding in rural Kentucky, though we still aren’t there yet.
While Brittany Cartwright is living in a fantasy world where Jax Taylor is a suitable husband, Jax is living in a fantasy world where he thinks he is a suitable husband as well. Last night on Vanderpump Rules, the fantasy turned into a nightmare. The pair is one step closer to being married, but have no fear – we still have another episode before they tie the knot.
It has been clear from the start that Brittany is very interested in the wedding and the wedding festivities, i.e. parties, dancing, princesses, crowns, tulle, shouting from the rooftop. The least important factor is who she is actually marrying. This is obvious because she’s interested in marrying Jax, which is 100% not a suitable mate.
At one point during Jax’s speech talking about himself, he mentioned that Brittany was “the best girl for him.” Not just the best girl, not the best girl he’s ever met or the best girl in Kentucky, but the best girl for him. It just goes to show that he doesn’t actually think Brittany is great, she just lets him get away with whatever and he likes that.
And in other news, Brittany requested the bridal party wear onesies of things that would reside inside a castle, such as a unicorn, a bear, a giraffe, a mermaid, a carebear, and a dragon.
I haven’t been in that many castles, but I think the only thing that might actually live in a castle is a dragon. Another disappointment in fantasy wedding land and we haven’t even reached the vows yet.
Vanderpump Rules is on Bravo every Tuesday at 9 PM!
