RHOC: Heather Dubrow is casting for a new plastic surgery show
By Amanda Cline
Heather Dubrow has her hands in many cookie jars, but it sounds like she and her husband, Terry, are getting back into the television business together.
Trooper Entertainment is responsible for such noteworthy shows such as Man Up, Holy Foley, Model Squad, and Alaska: Battle on the Bay. Oh, you’ve never heard of them? Us either. Since Heather Dubrow left The Real Housewives of Orange County, Terry remained on Botched on the E! channel.
Heather uploaded a post on her Instagram about a new show concept that focuses on couples in long term relationships that need a “sprucing up.” Based on the casting ad on Backstage, the show will be giving makeovers, provided nutritional help, training, and even plastic surgery to get people looking and feeling their best. Hopefully.
"Lucky and deserving couples will be privy to top of the line nutritionists, personal trainers, counselors and, of course, world-renowned plastic surgeons to revamp or refine not just your look but your love life."
The ads don’t specify which channel, but does note it is on a “major” cable network. If I had to guess, it would be on E! based on Terry’s relationship with them and Botched. It sounds like Terry would be performing the plastic surgery on this show as well, but that is yet to be determined. I appreciate that the Dubrow’s assume that to be in a good relationship, one of the participants needs plastic surgery.
A lot of these shows don’t even make it past casting, so I wouldn’t hold my breath that this one comes to fruition – but you never know!
If anyone is interested in participating, Heather & company are requesting that you email Tami at Troopercasting@gmail.com for more information.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will be back later this year on Bravo.
