RHOC: We listened to Vicki Gunvalson’s podcast so you don’t have to!
By Amanda Cline
Vicki said that her final reunion was a nightmare from start to finish – especially after production lied to her about how much she would be featured.
BravoCon & the reunion
Vicki felt that based on the reaction at BravoCon, she thought that she was definitely going to be brought back. Clearly that was not the case. But Vicki quickly jumped into the most recent reunion which showed her in a terrible light.
Vicki said that after sitting for six hours, she still had not been called out to the stage. Steve Lodge suggested they just leave. She went on to say that production told her she would be a part of the reunion for 80% of the time, which she didn’t care about. She cared more about getting paid for all three parts, which it was clear she wasn’t going to be apart of.
Then Gavin (“her handler”) told her the car was ready to take her home. So Vicki was upset that she wasn’t going to be a bigger part of the reunion and that she wasn’t going to be paid for it. That’s when she started flipping out at production backstage.
But in the end, they went in another direction
Eventually, Vicki said she had a come to Jesus meeting with production and they said that if she didn’t agree to come back as a friend, she wasn’t coming back at all. Production agreed – she wasn’t coming back at all. Vicki did say that Bethenny Frankel reached out to her and said leaving the show was the best thing that happened to her. “It’s just like being a hooker or a stripper on a pole – it’s not worth it.” You can’t just say that, Vicki.
