RHONY: Jules Wainstein arrested for battery in Florida

Jules Wainstein, the former RHONY star, was arrested in Boca Raton, Florida over the weekend for battery.  No word on who the alleged battery was against.

Since Jules Wainstein left The Real Housewives of New York, she and her estranged husband, Michael Wainstein, have been involved in a contentious divorce.  Julies told Bravo’s Life After Bravo that she was living in Baco Raton, Florida, with her children Rio and Jagger.  After Jules and Michael announced their divorce in 2016, the pair have been arguing over child support and all kind of other issues.

As reported by Page Six, Jules was booked into the Palm Beach County detention center just before 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 23, 2020.  Her former co-star, Luann de Lesseps, was also arrested in Palm Beach in late 2017.  Jules was arrested for battery (touch or strike) and according to arrest records and was released on her own recognizance just before 12:30 PM on Monday, February 24, 2020.

Jules and the children were in Boca to spend time with her family while her dad was apparently sick.  He passed away back in 2019 and the family remained in Florida.  Jules ex, Michael, was also in some legal trouble himself after allegedly not paying $135,000 in child support back in 2017, according to Page Six.

No word on what is next for Jules, hopefully, she can get back to her children soon.  Although since we don’t yet have much information, hopefully, the children are safe and were not around during the arrest.  It hasn’t been released who the other party involved was.

The housewives should remain outside of Palm Beach apparently.  Or perhaps just get better at avoiding altercations.
