RHONJ: Teresa Giudice definitely told Danielle Staub to pull the ponytail
By Amanda Cline
When Danielle Staub pulled Margaret Josephs’s ponytail earlier in the season, viewers were not pleased with her. But now the story has changed.
While The Real Housewives of New Jersey are on their cast trip, all hell broke loose as usual. While ultimately, the cast blamed Danielle Staub for Margaret Josephs’ hair pull, it appears it was Teresa Giudice’s idea after all. The general consensus was that Danielle was completely in the wrong in the situation, but when Melissa Gorga went to speak with Danielle, she totally threw Teresa under the bus.
“All of the girls no longer want you around,” Melissa told Danielle as they sat down together. Danielle went on to say that she was done after the threw Margaret’s stuff into the candle, but she was influenced by Teresa and the boutique owner, Steven Dann, to take it further.
Danielle told Melissa that Teresa said, “yeah, do it,” after Steven threw out the idea. You can watch the clip on BravoTV.com. The clip also showed Teresa going after Danielle in the boutique saying, “Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it.”
In the moment, it seemed like Danielle was just caught up in the drama and pulled Margaret’s ponytail, but after reviewing the footage from that day, it was definitely a premeditated move.
We know that Teresa and Danielle definitely had a falling out between the end of the season and the reunion, so perhaps Danielle selling Teresa out is why.
Teresa can pretend she wasn’t involved in the incident, but the video footage doesn’t lie. How will Teresa talk her way out of this one? I suspect she won’t.
