Kim Richards is writing a tell-all book about her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her life as a child actress.
Kim Richards, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, has been through a lot in the public eye. Now she’s writing a book to tell her side of the story called The Whole Truth: The Reality of It All. The book is available on Amazon for pre-order now and will be out on April 28, 2020.
The book description says the 288-page book is the “empowering story of a woman who has been through hell and back, endured, grew strong, and learned to become her own fiercest advocate.” It goes on to call Kim a “show pony” that grew up in view of the public eye and refers to her as a “disposable wife.” Last but not least, the description also says Kim was a “whipping board of a sister.”
Kim and the relationship with her sister, Kyle Richards, played out on the first season of the show when the pair famously fought in the limo about Kyle stealing Kim’s house…but it was really about Kim’s alcoholism.
Kim was arrested in 2015 at the Beverly Hills Hotel after a confusing incident with her and a table she liked to sit at. According to Bravo’s Daily Dish Kim was charged with “public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer, and battery on a police officer” after the hotel incident. Kim was also arrested after stealing around $600 worth of stuff from Target. She was charged with theft stemming from the target incident.
Kim has no doubt been through a lot in her time in the public eye, and it will be interesting to read her side of the story. I hope she mentions her mom, big Kathy, how she loves turtles, and maybe gives some insight to the amount of random stuff in her cart at Target that day.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back later this year on Bravo.
