Vanderpump Rules: Imagine if Kristen Doute had supportive friends

The Vanderpump Rules squad has been busy getting married and buying homes, but Kristen Doute is still busy trying to dump her boyfriend.

Throughout the history of Vanderpump Rules, all of the girls have dated losers.  For Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor was probably the biggest loser, Patrick Meagher wasn’t far behind.  No offense to Katie Malone, but Tom Schwartz wasn’t much of a catch either.  Sure, he’s a bar manager now, but he would get too frazzled to make a cocktail behind the bar.

But for some reason, Kristen Doute and Brian Carter are a sore spot for all of the ladies on the cast.  Sure, Carter sucks.  Sure, he doesn’t pay for anything and doesn’t bring anything to the table.  But when the other girls were all dating (and MARRYING) these other losers, Kristen always had their backs.  But her friends just like to shout at her for her choices after a few skinny margaritas.

And in the most unlikely of sources, Kristen found a friend in Ariana Madix – the girl dating her ex-boyfriend that may or may not have made out with him in the pool in Las Vegas that one time.

The whole group has been on the outs with Kristen for almost a year now due to her relationship with Carter.  During the most recent episode, there was a box of Carter’s stuff at Kristen’s house and the girls flipped out again.  But they flipped out at Kristen, not Carter.  Ariana was the only one willing to help Kristen move.

Imagine if instead of being mad at Kristen for having Carter’s belongings in her house – they actually were supportive?  And by supportive, I mean they took the box and dropped it off on whoever’s couch he’s sleeping on.  Or if they offered to stay with her for the night to cuddle.  Maybe they even sent over a handyman to hang stuff.

But for whatever reason, the cast likes to exclude Kristen instead of surrounding her.  I totally understand that they are probably tired of Carter and his inability to actively participate in the relationship, but maybe Kristen feels too alone without him?  That’s a hill she will have to climb on her own though.

All of her friends are moving out and getting married, while she’s just trying to get Carter to take his box of crap home.  Maybe I need to read her book He’s Making You Crazy: How to Get the Guy, Get Even, and Get Over It to understand her better.  Or, maybe Kristen needs new friends.
