The Real Housewives of Atlanta finished out their Toronto trip with a huge fight, compliments of Nene Leakes and her awful attitude.
After Dennis McKinley proposed to Porsha Williams, The Real Housewives of Atlanta sit down to try and figure out who recorded Cynthia Bailey talking about Nene Leakes. Obviously, the front runner for the snake of the year is Dennis, but Yovanna Momplaisir is in second for her alleged shady recording behavior. The ladies decide that in order to force the information out of Yovanna, they have to at like they already know she did it. Which…we kind of did anyway.
When Yovanna entered the room, Kenya Moore let Yovanna know they knew it was her and asked why she did it. Yovanna tried to spin it as the group is fake and the recording only exposed that. Cue the flashback of Cynthia telling Mike Hill she had to pretend she didn’t know Kenya was coming to the party during the finale last season. Marlo Hampton called Cynthia fake in the middle of eating french fries out of a to-go container, then called her a baldheaded scallywag to boot.
A producer asked Nene if Yovanna was the snake and Nene replied that snake isn’t a nice word. “Is Yovanna the one with the information? Yes.” When Porsha took a moment to ask Yovanna if she was the snake, Yovanna said, “the snake is your man.” And the whole room went nuts.
To be fair, I called Dennis the snake last week so we already knew that. And Yovanna isn’t wrong, the rumor mill is churning out news that he’s cheating again.
So Nene won’t confirm she knows Yovanna is the snake because Cynthia didn’t let her know Kenya was coming last season. The petty runs deep, y’all. Eventually, Kenya told Nene to shut up, and things popped off from there.
Cameramen, sound men, security, hotel staff, and every other behind the scenes staff came out from behind the cameras to stop the argument. How much extra do I have to pay for my hotel room for a live Real Housewives of Atlanta fight in the hallway? The fight was quickly broken up, but things still went too far.
During the fight, Kenya suggested that if the tape was real, we would have heard it by now. I’m in that camp. The recording was a lovely tool to drum up extra drama, but I don’t think it actually exists. I think that since no one really wanted to film with Nene, she had to figure out some way to get screentime. It did wonders for her…and is just the kind of thing Nene would do.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is on every Sunday at 8 PM!
