Bubbly bars are all the rage this year, but for Housewives fans, we have a suggestion: Create your own Bravo Bar for New Year’s Eve!
Signature drinks have been a staple of every Housewife franchise almost from the beginning, so our suggestions for what to have on your Bravo beverage bar will sound very familiar! The first and foremost housewife beverage is Ramona Singer Pinot Grigio, also known as Ramona Pinot. How many times have we heard Ramona ask for a pinot grigio? In 2012, she decided to create her very own pinot grigio, and it’s available nationwide. Wine.com describes it as a “Pinot Gris/Grigio from Veneto, Italy.”
Next up we have Brandi Glanville’s Unfiltered Blonde Chardonnay. Brandi’s foray into wine bears a name similar to her podcast and other branding. Produced in Sonoma County, the wine is described as “a perfect balance of smooth and creamy texture and crisp acidity providing for a
lengthy finish.”
The next classic is obviously Vanderpump Rosé, which TotalWine.com describes as from “Provence, France – Elegant nose with delicate red currant and hints of pepper as well as sweet citrus.” As a professional Bravo fan, I sampled the rosé at Lisa’s newest venture, the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas. Both the rosé and goat cheese balls were everything I was told they would be.
If we didn’t mention SkinnyGirl cocktails, it would be a travesty. If wine isn’t your thing, you can find a variety of ready-to-serve, low-calorie cocktails in Bethenny Frankel’s famous line of Skinny Girl Cocktails. The White Cranberry Cosmo has a holiday feel to it, and there is of course the original Skinny Girl Margarita (but it was Luann’s idea – don’t forget!) as well as several new margarita flavors.
You can also whip up a Vodka Martini, a la Vicki Gunvalson: Who can’t name Vicki’s favorite drink? A vodka martini, extra dirty, with three blue-cheese stuffed olives. Although Vicki’s Vodka is no
longer available (sad!), you can still make this concoction with your own favorite brand of
vodka. A simple bar idea is straight shots of tequila, which seem to be a favorite of the RHOC housewives when vacationing. And Tamra Judge before she hides in a bush. But who can blame her?
Sadly, Teresa Guidice’s Fabellini, Sonja Morgan’s Tipsy Girl Prosecco, and
Heather Dubrow’s Collette don’t seem to be available anywhere. You may be on your
own when it comes to choosing a “champs” for ringing in the New Year….but you can watch this classic commercial for Fabellini on BravoTV.com.
Want more ideas for your Bravo Bar? Check out the new cocktail book, Fancy AF Cocktails, by Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. And head to Taco Bell for a chalupa the next day in case of a hangover. You might even see the Vanderpump Rules kids in some promo material.
Andy Cohen will be mixing cocktails in the clubhouse throughout 2020!
