The former RHOBH star was honored with an award this week for her role on the hit television show, Vanderpump Rules. Mazel!
Lisa Vanderpump, formerly of RHOBH, was honored this week with an award from The National Film & TV Awards society at their annual award show in Los Angeles earlier this week. The NFTA group honored Lisa for her role as the leading lady on Vanderpump Rules. Lisa won the Best Female Reality TV Personality award, much to the dismay of a lot of people.
Her former good friend and co-star, Kyle Richards, even tried to shade her last month when she uploaded a photo of herself in a crown with the caption, “If the crown fits, wear it 👑.” If you remember, Lisa’s old tagline was, “The crown is heavy, darlings. So just leave it where it belongs.” So obviously, Lisa accepted her award in a crown.
In her acceptance speech, Lisa said she was thankful for the platform reality television had given her because it allows her to help others. Lisa said, “The most important thing to note is that this is what matters the most, using your success to help the less fortunate.”
Though Lisa has moved on from the RHOBH franchise, she is still heavily involved with Vanderpump Rules. At the beginning of October, she tweeted that the group was filming the new intro for the upcoming season. So if you need your Lisa fix, you’re in luck!
With Best Female Reality TV Personality such a broad title, there were many notable nominees such as: Kris Jenner from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kandi Burruss from Love & HipHop, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, and Stephanie Pratt from The Hills: New Beginnings and Denise Richards from The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills.
The award show had some other interesting nominations, such as Cardi B for Best Performance in a Movie. You can check out the full list here. Congrats, Lisa!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back in 2020!
