Teresa Giudice of RHONJ was in court yesterday for her husband, Joe Guidice’s deportation hearing asking for his release.

Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice’s rise and fall has been documented on RHONJ throughout the years.  From paying cash for furniture and romping through the vineyards to ICE deportation hearings and long stints in prison – these two have had quite the fall from grace.  If you can even call it grace.

Joe has been fighting to stay in the country after being released from prison and straight into an ICE detention center, where he has been since he was released in March.  Joe has been sentenced to deportation to his home country of Italy but has been fighting that ruling ever since. The courts think Joe is a flight risk, given his history of crimes and past behavior.

Joe wants to be released to his family

Teresa and their daughters, Gia (age 18), Gabriella (age 15), Milania (age 14), and Audriana (age 10) have asked that their father be able to come home to them for the time being while a decision is reached.  Teresa got a lot of heat for saying that if he does get deported, she and the girls would stay in the US.

Gia just started college at Rutgers in her home state of New Jersey and Teresa does not want to relocate the other younger children. Joe has been in the US since he was a child and claims he was not aware he wasn’t a citizen.  Then he committed a bunch of crimes – and here we are.

Iced out by the Giudice’s

At the hearing yesterday, Teresa was apparently iced out by Joe’s family due to her recent partying and traveling.  Apparently, this is the first hearing Teresa attended for the deportation case.  Joe was in prison for 41 months and has been in ICE custody in Pensylvania since his release. Part of the reason Teresa was in court today was to help convince them to release Joe to his family.

If that happened at his point, would Joe go home to the house he shared with Teresa?  Would he go stay with his mother and other family members?  Either way, he wants to be out of custody while they make the final decision.  If his request is denied, he will be immediately deported back to Italy.  Teresa has said she will divorce Joe if that is the outcome.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently filming for the next season.
