Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Denise Richards’ husband wants to sue Lisa Vanderpump?
By Amanda Cline
Aaron Phypers, Denise Richards’ husband, wants to sue former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Vanderpump, as well as John Sessa.
In this week’s bizarre Real Housewives of Beverly Hills headlines, apparently, Aaron Phypers wants to sue Lisa Vanderpump and/or John Sessa. To Aaron’s dismay, he cannot sue Lisa. Or John.
Forgive the vague nature of some of this article – nonsense can be hard to nail down sometimes.
Denise Richards’ husband, Aaron, has somehow gotten involved in a twitter war with the Vanderpump Dogs owner, and her #PuppyGate partner – John Sessa.
From what I understand, Denise was on Watch What Happens Live last week, and a called asked Denise if something happened between her and Lisa to make Denise “turn on her” (i.e. turn on Lisa). Denise responded that “instances happened and you know, they happened.”
Lisa and John responded that they took in eight foster dogs from Denise (?) during (?) the Malibu fires, fixed them, vaccinated them and re-homed them. The tweet above shows a text from Aaron to John, threatening to sue him (John) for defamation of character.
If you remember correctly, Lisa Rinna threatened to sue Lisa Vanderpump for something related to a spin-off show involving Vanderpump Cocktail garden.
The long and short of it is that the Bravo contract every cast member signs prohibits inter-cast-lawsuits. No cast members can sue, or be sued, for what is said on camera, off-camera, or anything related to the show.
So Aaron can text all he wants about the likeness, name, and image of his wife Denise Richards, but he can’t actually sue anyone about it.
It sounds like Vanderpump Dogs stepped in to help with some dogs, and Aaron and Denise didn’t like how it was handled at the time. Unfortunately, that does not mean he can sue anyone about it.
Based on her tweet above, Denise doesn’t seem that mad about it.
I’m not sure what the issue was with Denise on WWHL, but I’m sure someone will tweet about it soon enough.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is not currently airing on Bravo, but the drama never ends!
