The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Most shocking moments of the reunion – part 1
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Part 1 started last night, complete with wigs, neon gowns, and enough hairclips to save Kitson for another season.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 9 reunion started off last night, with six, occasionally seven, housewives dressed to the nines and ready for anything. Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Denise Richards, Erika (Jayne) Girardi, Teddi Mellencamp, and eventually, Camille Grammer were all present.
Let’s get this out of the way
Andy greets all of the housewives and announces that Lisa Vanderpump’s final act for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is not showing up that night. Then, in the shadiest act of the night, they replayed that clip of Lisa talking about Adrienne Maloof. Andy asks season three Lisa if it “was cowardly to not show up” for a reunion, and they agree it is.
Andy brings up an interview Lisa gave to Radar online the previous day, where she said a lot, but “Lisa always wins” was a highlight. He also shades her for speaking to Radar online, of all sources.
Erika tweeted out that Kyle was now queen of RHOBH. I found Kyle’s behavior interesting last night because she pretended she was very sad Lisa didn’t show up but then spent the night tearing her down anyway.
So, are you sad Lisa wasn’t there, or not? Has she been “unmasked?”
Camille makes a big splash
Camille gets a lukewarm welcome to the reunion couches.
Denise is speaking about her ex, Charlie Sheen, and their divorce. Camille takes shots at Denise saying that she didn’t follow her that much so she doesn’t recall the details.
Camille said she worked “like, really hard,” and didn’t sit around and eat bonbons. I think she’s insinuating Denise didn’t work hard for her divorce money (?) while Camille compared her treatment to that of Brett Kavanaugh.
Hi I’m Teddi
Teddi finds herself in the hot seat for her part in #puppygate. Teddi says she doesn’t really know Lisa or her employees, but we know she texts them frequently.
Andy says to Teddi, “For someone who is the queen of accountability, it’s amazing at that time you had such a lapse.” Teddi says she takes responsibility for her actions, but it seems like she actually just blames Lisa for them.
Part I ended with #puppygate, and I have a feeling it is going to carry over into Part II next week.
What’s next for RHOBH? Part II is on Tuesday, July 23 at 9 PM.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Part II is on Tuesday, July 23 at 9 PM ET on Bravo.
