Real Housewives of New York: A Cabaret Monster, Spray Tans, and Aerobics
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of New York have a giant blow-up at dinner, but just like a Florida storm in the summer, it blows over just as quickly as it started.
The Real Housewives of New York are back at in Miami, fighting at fancy establishments, as they do.
Luann the Count Less Monster Lesseps has resurfaced on the patio of Barton G in Miami. Defensive as ever.
Per·so·na non gra·ta, noun: an unacceptable or unwelcome person
Ramona Singer has an interesting thought that Bethenny Frankel is probably extra upset at Luann because she didn’t get to have such an opportunity with Dennis Shields.
Luann is over here parading her sobriety around, Cabaret-ing herself around the country, and doesn’t seem to be very thankful for what she has.
Luann goes to leave the restaurant but comes back in. Bethenny apologizes to the group for freaking out, and Lu apologizes to Barbara Kavovit.
Eventually, Luann apologizes to Bethenny for not bringing up Dennis or checking on her after losing Dennis.
For how dramatic the event was, the apology tour around the round table is very calm. As we know, evil spirits cannot hide in round homes or round tables.
Back at the house
Dorinda Medley is hilarious. She’s commenting on Tinsley’s new $3,000 outfits, noting that it doesn’t seem she’s actually broken up with Scott based on her spending habits.
“There’s something that doesn’t track, everything is brand new. Not like, TJ Maxx brand new, like Madison Avenue brand new. I’m a math doer, and that’s not adding up.”
Along with math doing, Dorinda is also an aerobics do-er. Dorinda may be teaching the aerobics, but Ramona is living them.
The ladies put the whole Miami trip behind them and attend Dorinda’s 80’s aerobics class. Everyone dresses up and looks great, and has a great time. I think Dorinda has a past, and a future, in high energy aerobics.
Luann is talking about her new single, Feelin’ Jovani, and it really is painful to watch.
Next week is the season finale and the Christmas Cabaret, so please don’t miss it. We can all suffer through it together, okay?
Real Housewives of New York will be back next Wednesday at 9 PM ET on Bravo for the season finale.
