Below Deck Mediterranean is really moving quickly this season, hopefully losing its first cast member soon enough.  Not actually soon enough though.

I’m going to apologize in advance for Mila’s opinions on Below Deck tonight, and some of Jack’s statements because they are not very PC.   Things are not PC on BD tonight, if you will.

The hate is real

Chef Mila says it’s okay she hates gay people because she has a gay friend that does her hair.  If you aren’t actively watching this mess, her hair is being done by someone that hates her.  Take a look.

The news spreads quickly about Mila being homophobic, with everyone whispering at the dinner table.

Chef Mila says, “Sometimes my opinion hurts people, unfortunately.”

Travis says, “Your opinion didn’t hurt me. Your opinion hurts humanity, and that’s MY opinion.”

I don’t connect much with João on this show, but his story about losing a gay friend to suicide due to the conditions for gay people in Zimbabwe was hard to watch.

Mila and Jack go out for a smoke, and Jack says, “Even though her opinions are s–t, she’s sexy. Sexy Hitler.”  Sigh.

The guests arrive

And almost right off the bat, Mila feeds them old and/or expired seafood.  Mila, you are on a BOAT.  Where do you even find canned seafood?

Mila says she isn’t a fan of shrimp after being poisoned by her shrimp pasta, so she decides to poison them with canned crab instead.

On Watch What Happens Live last night, the girls said that Mila’s professional food photos were from instructors at Le Cordon Bleu, not from Mila’s at Le Cordon Bleu.

So, Anastasia goes into the kitchen to whip up some grilled cheese. Saving the day, one bread and cheese sandwich at a time.

Hannah says, “Not only is Mila a homophobe, but she can officially not cook.”

Chef Anastasia enters the galley

And I, for one, am thrilled.  Mila, for one, is not thrilled.

I was really hoping they fired Mila this episode, but she’s made it through.

Rumors off screen are flying about Mila and her job on the boat, but we’ll have to wait until next week to see what happens.  That Below Deck galley isn’t big enough for the both of you, ladies.
