Ranking the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are coming back February 12 for an all new explosive season. How fun would it be to do a Power Ranking for the Beverly Hills Housewives as we prepare for their return?

The ladies of Beverly Hills have given us SO MUCH GOODNESS over the years. Loads of fashion, family feuds, and juicy drama have blessed our screens thanks to these women. Some women like Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards have been with the show since the beginning. Others like Denise Richards are just getting started and we haven’t formulated an opinion yet. So many factors went into ranking the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so let’s hope we got it right!

7. Denise Richards 

Seasons Active: Upcoming Season 9

We would love to rank Denise higher on our list, but we don’t know enough about her yet. Sure we know about her controversial and newsworthy situations prior to the show. However that may not equate to Housewives success. Although judging by the trailer, she’ll rank higher next season!

6. Dorit Kemsley

Seasons Active: 7-Present

Dorit has found herself in hot water with fans since she joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her major feuds have involved women’s underwear and drinking out of the wrong type of glassware. Her friendship with top dog Lisa Vanderpump kept her afloat for multiple seasons, but now they are on the outs. Hopefully Dorit can redeem herself this season in the eyes of the fans AND her costars.

5. Teddi Mellencamp

Seasons Active: 8-Present

Teddi has the potential to be great, but she just hasn’t gotten there yet. Her debut season focused so much on being accountable, and we are NOT about that. This is the Real Housewives sweetie, and the entire franchise is built on the opposite. She also seemed intimidated by Erika Jayne which is understandable, but you have to stand your grand. Any top notch Real Housewife won’t run out of a room in tears over one confrontation.

4. Lisa Rinna

Seasons Active: 5-Present

UGH. Lisa Rinna has all the ingredients of a great Housewife, but last season was just not her season. We want messy Rinna and not whatever reserved out of the drama Rinna we got. She started last season on an apology tour and never did much to note which was disappointing. She is one of the only Housewives unafraid to go up against LVP, and we miss that. If her social media posts are any indication, the old Rinna is back for Season 9. Ranking the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is so stressful!

3. Kyle Richards

Seasons Active: 1-Present

Beverly Hills is Kyle’s town and after eight seasons of taglines telling us, we finally believe it! Her drama is a little repetitive though. Without the built in drama with her sister Kim on the show, Kyle has no other storyline than her friendship with LVP. The two frenemies have made up and fallen out SO many times over the course of the show. It’s a little tiring and the same old story each time of Kyle accusing LVP of manipulating or holding a grudge. We wanted to put Kyle higher when ranking the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but her storyline is too one dimensional. It looks like their friendship might be over for good if the explosive Season 9 trailer is any indication.

2. Erika Girardi

Seasons Active: 6-Present

When Erika burst onto the scene, the landscape of the show was drastically changed. She immediately replaced the void left by Brandi Glanville as the most outspoken Beverly Hills Housewife. She checks all the boxes. She’s funny, she’s SUPER rich, she is an incredible performer, and she calls bulls**t when she sees it. She’s gone up against most of the ladies as one point or another, and offers ZERO apologies. She would rank higher, but her total lack of interest at last season’s reunion show hurt her spot a bit. Ranking the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills gets complicated the closer to the top we get!

1. Lisa Vanderpump 

Seasons Active: 1-Present

It’s almost impossible to argue against the idea that Lisa Vanderpump is the star of this show. Whether positive or negative, her name is EVERYWHERE and she generates the biggest buzz for the show. Her costars say she is a master manipulator, and to get everyone to do your bidding without lifting a finger is no tall task. In many ways being manipulative is a great skill to have on this kind of a show. Most of the ladies that have feuded with her in the past have totally crumbled and are no longer on the show. She holds the most power of any of her costars. LVP, love her or hate her is the face of the show and if the reports about her leaving are accurate, there will be a major void. She was the only choice for top stop when ranking The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
