Mauricio Umansky speaks out after $1 million robbery investigation yields no suspects
ClIs a mystery thief going to get away with stealing over $1 million in valuables from Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky?
At this point, most Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans know that the home of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky was robbed over Christmas. Both Kyle and Mauricio are okay. They were celebrating the holidays in Aspen at the time and were not home. However, they lost a lot of expensive jewelry, watches, purses, and even some irreplaceable family heirlooms.
Thankfully, Mauricio is looking at things in a positive light after having his home broken into. He posted on Instagram about it but rather than complaining about the thieves, he made clear exactly what couldn’t be stolen from him – time with his family.
Clearly, many of the things that were stolen from Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky can be replaced. Even that insanely expensive Birkin that she was showing off on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Fans are assuming that the RHOBH couple have their belongings insured so much of what was taken will literally be replaced.
Thieves reportedly stole all of Kyle’s expensive purses and all of Mauricio’s watches after breaking a window to their home and climbing through it. They also took some things that held sentimental value. Those losses are certainly harder to swallow.
Of the things that can’t be replaced, Reality Tea reports that Kyle’s original wedding ring was stolen. Maybe no one will notice the “Mauricio Forever” inscription when they try to sell it.
Kyle was also reportedly robbed of family heirlooms that she was holding onto in order to pass to her daughters one day. She is also missing jewelry received from Mauricio for anniversaries and special occasions.
As far as who broke into Kyle and Mauricio’s home? No one knows yet. Police are looking at the robbery as a pro job. They say that the thieves knew that the family would be gone and they knew exactly what to grab.

Normally the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars would have their home locked up tight. However, during this robbery, the home alarm had been left off because of renovations. Likewise, the couple’s dogs weren’t home because they had been sent to obedience classes while they were away. It was the perfect setup to get away with the robbery and whoever did it had to know about the unlikely mix of circumstances.
