Vanderpump Rules star suffers devastating loss just days after Christmas

Jax Taylor revealed his father lost his battle with cancer. 

Say what you will about Jax Taylor, but he is human like the rest of us. His relationship with his dad has been private for the most part, though he did share photos of his father from time to time. The last several weeks have been filled with worry over the cancer battle.

Ronald Cauchi lost his battle with cancer yesterday at some point. Jax Taylor made the announcement via Twitter, where several of his co-stars chimed in to send him love and prayers. Ariana Madix, Tom Schwartz, and Sherri Cartwright were quick to respond to the news with love and support. Taylor is incredibly broken now, with Brittany Cartwright by his side.

Currently, Jax Taylor is in Florida. The next few days are going to be grueling for him, especially just days after Christmas and days before welcoming 2018. This year, 2017, hasn’t been the best for the Vanderpump Rules star. Aside from the revelation he cheated on his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, he learned of his father’s cancer diagnosis.

Jax Taylor revealed his father, Ronald Cauchi, was diagnosed with stage four esophageal cancer back in October. The weeks since then have been filled with angry posts about cancer.

Taylor’s father put up a hard fight, but ultimately, the cancer won. Recently, Jax was asked what he wanted for the holidays, and his response was sincere. He asked for his dad’s health to be restored. Unfortunately, that did not happen, and now, he is mourning the loss of his father.
