RHOC casting rumors: Who will lose their orange?

More RHOC casting rumors are making their rounds and this time, they aren’t centered around Peggy Sulahian. 

It has only been a week since RHOC finished with the reunion. Rumors have already been circulating about who will and will not return. Of course, Peggy Sulahian is being pegged as out the door, but nothing has officially been confirmed. Aside from the massive dislike for the newest addition, there are some other interesting names being tossed around the ring.

According to Radar Online, Lydia McLaughlin will not be returning either. Now, this should be taken with a grain of salt because they aren’t always accurate. However, it makes sense from a viewer standpoint.

McLaughlin brought in Peggy Sulahian and was aligned with her the entire time. Now that Sulahian will likely not return, Lydia has no storyline. She wasn’t exactly well received this time around either. After being gone from RHOC for four years, Lydia was no longer relevant.

Of course, there is almost no question that Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and Shannon Beador will be returning to RHOC. In fact, when you add in Kelly Dood to make a foursome, they are ratings gold.

There is some hope they will “whoop it up” together during an upcoming season, and this would be a perfect time. Beador and Dodd are going through divorces and the other two will be there to support their friends.

Radar is saying that initially Meghan King Edmonds wasn’t going to be asked back but the pregnancy news at the reunion has forced them to offer a return. This seems off because Meghan wasn’t planning on returning after she had Aspen last year, but she ultimately tried it out.

Her experience this season was not necessarily a good one, especially with the comments about her parenting. Edmonds announced her second pregnancy on her blog and informed readers her IVF journey would not be filmed but could be followed on her blog. She is due June 2018 so if she doesn’t plan to film any of the journey, she will not be returning.

There are also rumors that Gretchen Rossi will be asked to return with her boyfriend, Slade. This could be huge for the ratings, especially because Kelly Dodd just went off on Rossi on an Instagram rant that was brutal. I’d be especially happy with a Gretchen return, especially if they could get Lizzie Rovsek on a part-time basis!

Nothing about RHOC has been confirmed regarding cast members returning. Bravo will likely not announce anything until closer to when filming begins. My educated guess would be Peggy and Lydia are definitely out because of their lack of connection with viewers and Meghan may decide to not return while pregnant because of the stress.
