Bethenny Frankel freaks out when dog experiences medical emergency [Update]

Bethenny Frankel made herself vulnerable to the world when she went to social media during her dog’s medical emergency. 

Viewers know how much Bethenny Frankel loves her dog Cookie. The pooch actually has her own Instagram that The Real Housewives of New York star actively keeps up with. Unfortunately, there was a medical emergency involving the famous dog, and it wasn’t good.

Last night, Bethenny Frankel’s dog had a very long seizure. According to E! Online, Cookie suffered a 45-minute seizure. Frankel was unsure what to do as her young daughter looked on. Because the vet was quite a ways away, she thought asking on social media would be a better idea.

At this point, Cookie is at the animal hospital recovering. Bethenny Frankel shared that her beloved dog had a fever along with the seizure.

She took her to the animal hospital and as of a few hours ago, Cookie was still alive. Frankel was so concerned she would have to put her dog down after that medical crisis.

A lot has happened to Bethenny Frankel over the last few weeks. She had skin cancer removed from her face, chartered more than a few planes to help Puerto Rico, and had court in the stalking case with her ex-husband. Relaxation is something Bethenny desperately needs at this moment.

There has been a lot of outpouring of support for the reality star. The comments came in droves, as did the concerns for Cookie and her health. As of now, she is still fighting to get back home with Bethenny Frankel and Bryn.

Update: Unfortunately, Cookie didn’t make it. Bethenny Frankel updated fans about the death of her beloved dog on Monday morning. On Twitter, she wrote, “My @cookiedabooboo is gone. Bless her furry heart…” Soon after, she shared a picture of herself and Cookie with the caption, “My furry first baby, May ur next life be as beautiful as this one was. Thank u for the love u gave to me &my peanut. See u on the other side.”
