Meghan King Edmonds never liked Vicki Gunvalson, wants her off RHOC

Is Meghan King Edmonds being catty or is it really time for Vicki Gunvalson to leave Real Housewives of Orange County?

Vicki Gunvalson is the OG of the OC but that doesn’t mean she will get to stick around the Bravo hit forever. If you ask Meghan King Edmonds, she thinks the time for Vicki to depart is now. She even said as much about her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star recently when pressed by Entertainment Tonight. 

There are already rumors floating around that Vicki Gunvalson might end up getting demoted for next season. Here presence on RHOC lately has been less than exciting and she’s clearly worn out the friendships that she used to enjoy.

“I don’t have a history with Vicki,” Meghan King Edmonds explained. “I just never liked her, from the beginning … she was nasty to me, but that’s her MO.”

“She has a history with Shannon and Tamra where they were good friends,” Meghan added. “So, when you were good friends with somebody and you sever that, I think it’s really hard to go back to.”

This season there has been a noticeable divide among the RHOC cast. The group has been split and Meghan has clearly sided with Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge. She’s even been very vocal this season about who is right and who is wrong when it comes to the feud between Vicki and Tamra among other issues.

“It’s kind of awkward,” Meghan said of the divide between RHOC stars. “I don’t like having a bifurcated, like, clickiness. That’s not fun. Nobody likes that … I want, like, everybody to get along and sit together and have fun and party together.”

Meghan King Edmonds was also very vocal about Vicki Gunvalson spreading rumors about Tamra Judge’s husband. She didn’t think it was cool at all for Vicki to question Eddie’s sexuality or to tell the others that Tamra’s husband was gay.

So when Meghan was asked who should leave RHOC after this season, it shouldn’t surprise anyone whose name came out of her mouth.

“You’re out!’” Meghan said playfully. “If only I could say that … ‘Vicki, you’re out. Bye! No more lies.’ See ya.”

Meghan may have been acting silly when she said it but there’s no doubt in my mind that she meant it. After all, Meghan King Edmonds isn’t the only one who stars in or watches Real Housewives of Orange County that would like to see the next season without Vicki Gunvalson on it.
