Kim Zolciak lawyers up, speaks out against NeNe Leakes for calling her a racist

Kim Zolciak is not playing around with NeNe Leakes and her accusation that Kim and her family are racist. 

The ongoing feud between NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak is getting more and more serious. After NeNe accused Kim, Brielle and the entire Biermann family of being racist, Kim has hired a lawyer.

The RHOA and Don’t Be Tardy star didn’t stay quiet when confronted about her decision to seek legal counsel. Kim made it clear that she’s not going to tolerate claims of racism. She also pointed out that, since NeNe’s claims, she has been fielding threats and comments from angry NeNe fans who actually believed the reality star.

“I don’t take this lightly,” Kim Zolciak told E! News. “It’s one thing like I said to kind of banter back and forth and have an opinion. This is far beyond just having an opinion.”

“We’ve had to make some changes in my everyday life with security and Brielle’s gotten a lot of threats on Instagram,” Zolciak added. “I mean it’s been a little rough. That’s why Brielle’s here with me in California right now.”

NeNe cried racist after Brielle Biermann took and shared a video that was recorded inside her bathroom. The recording was allegedly taken some time ago and was saved for some perfectly timed pot stirring.

All of this because of Brielle’s video

As Champagne and Shade reported, the video was made when Kim and Brielle were visiting NeNe’s house for a party that was being filmed for RHOA. NeNe contends that neither of them were invited and only showed up to stir up trouble.

Kim has argued that Brielle was innocently taking selfies in NeNe’s bathroom and that’s how the whole thing started. She said Brielle only noticed bugs in the bathroom after posting one of the pictures and having someone point it out.

Kim explained that after having someone point out that there was a bug in the photo, she quickly deleted it and returned to NeNe’s bathroom to record more footage of the pest problem.

It wasn’t until the Barcelona trip when Kim learned that NeNe had been trash talking her that the film was made public. Some RHOA fans thought that the timing of the video and the wild eruption of the feud between NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak was interesting. By interesting, I mean that that Season 10 premiere of Real Housewives of Atlanta is less than a month away and now there is a crazy feud, name-calling, and now a lawyer.

Now that Kim Zolciak has hired a lawyer, it’s not entirely clear where this might go. Kim can certainly sue NeNe Leakes for defamation. That could present an opportunity for NeNe to countersue. This could get very interesting.

One thing we’re betting won’t happen in the coming months is reconciliation. Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes have fought and made up numerous times over the years. This time, though, it doesn’t look like they’ll be making up any time soon.
