RHOC bonuses lost: Which housewives couldn’t keep their mouth shut for $30k?

The RHOC drama has been high this season, and some of the ladies are paying a high price for their comments. 

After the last two seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County aired, the network executives were shaking their heads. The RHOC ladies were going on Twitter and other social media platforms and attacking each other.

Shannon Beador was upset about the comments and in order to keep the peace between the ladies, a $30,000 bonus was put on the line. If there was no attacking one another, each housewife would receive the bonus.

The offer is a decent amount of money, especially when the ladies could easily get it for keeping their mouths closed. With the tensions running high, it isn’t shocking that the bonus is out the window for some of the housewives.

The season is taped several months in advance and they watch it back as the fans do. Social media interaction is encouraged among the fans and sometimes, the ladies get cross with one another.

Initially, the bonus was implemented after Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek were commenting about Shannon Beador. She was furious with them and reportedly had Bravo call them to insist they stop. That didn’t work because they were not under contract with the network. While that didn’t change things, it helped to get the bonus in place.

According to In Touch Weekly, there are a few housewives that have blown their bonuses already. Of course, the way The Real Housewives of Orange County is going, that can’t be too shocking. The culprits are Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, and Kelly Dodd.

These ladies have to remain at each other’s throat. Shannon Beador is on the border of losing it, and the rest of the ladies seem like they may be able to cash that extra cash.

Social media is often a turf war, and the RHOC ladies often partake in their fair share of shade. Because of the intensity between Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson, the two will never be able to resolve things. Kelly Dodd is mouthy, often saying what the others are thinking. It is a shame they couldn’t buckle down for $30,000 though.
