Jill Zarin’s husband fights for his life: ‘We’re hoping for a miracle’

RHONY alum Jill Zarin doesn’t have good news to deliver about her husband, Bobby’s cancer battle, but she said he’s not going down without a fight.

Jill Zarin hasn’t been a full-time cast member on RHONY for quite some time. But it doesn’t matter whether she’s on or off the show — her fans are there for her no matter what. And right now, Zarin needs all the support and well-wishes she can get.

During a recent interview with People, Jill revealed that her husband, Bobby, has been hospitalized. His battle with cancer took a turn for the worse. Although she’s trying to stay positive, clearly her husband’s illness is taking its toll on her. Jill says she’s “hoping for the best” she has lost weight during this extremely stressful time.

Bobby Zarin was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009. The former RHONY star told People that her husband was admitted to the hospital after his cancer “took an unexpected turn.”

He was hospitalized just days before Jill was set to host a fundraiser for thyroid cancer. Although she hasn’t left his side since he was admitted, she made it clear that the July 29 fundraiser was still happening.

"“We want to show him how much we love him by raising a lot of money for the International Thyroid Oncology Group, which is looking for cutting-edge treatments for advanced thyroid cancer.”"

Zarin tells People she is in “physical shock” and has lost eight pounds since her husband was hospitalized.

She goes on to say that although Bobby was doing really well for a long period of time.

Cancer spread to his lungs in 2013 and Zarin states that “it’s been a battle since last fall” when it came back in his brain.

Despite her husband’s tough battle with cancer, Jill says he is “not going down without a fight.”

“He is the most loving and caring person I have ever known besides my father.” Jill tells People. “Sometimes life just isn’t fair. But we have such a great love story. He is the love of my life. I will do everything in my power to heal and care for him.”
