‘RHOC’ star Shannon Beador convinced facelift will solve her marital problems

RHOC’s Shannon Beador hopes weight loss and a face lift will keep her husband, David, from cheating on her again.

Shannon Beador is working hard to shed the 40 pounds she gained but there’s a reason why she wants to shed the pounds fast. Instead of simply getting healthy, the Real Housewives of Orange County star is reportedly trying to change the way she looks to save her marriage.

Radar Online reports Shannon will soon follow in Tamra Judge’s footsteps and get a facelift. But she won’t be able to go under the knife right away. Her doctor is making her wait to have surgery until she reaches her goal weight so excess skin can be removed.

Shannon didn’t waste any time getting back in the gym, but is she doing all of this for the right reasons?

Shannon tells Us Weekly that she takes “full responsibility” for her 40-pound weight gain. Now she’s hitting the gym regularly and has already lost at least 8 pounds.

It’s great that Shannon is sharing her weight gain (and weight loss) story with RHOC fans. Many women who struggle with their weight can totally relate. However, if Radar’s report is true, it’s sad that she feels she has to change to keep her husband interested.

Apparently, Shannon thinks a combination of weight loss and plastic surgery will make her marriage problems disappear.

David cheated on Shannon two years ago. Once their marriage started getting back on track, Vicki claimed to have a photo that showed Shannon after she was allegedly injured by her husband.

A RHOC production source recently told Radar Online that Shannon is “convinced that getting a facelift now is going to solve all of her problems.”

The source goes on to say that Shannon feels that if she changes the way she looks, David will fall “head-over-heels in love with her again.”

There’s no harm in getting a facelift if it makes you feel better about yourself.

But it sure sounds like Shannon is changing the way she looks simply to keep her husband interested and avoid future heartbreak.
