RHOSLC’s Monica Garcia is pregnant with baby number 5

In April 2024, Monica Garcia shared the news that she was pregnant with her fifth child, with boyfriend Braxton Knight. However, the news turned sad a few weeks later when she revealed that she had lost the baby unexpectedly. Considering everything she had gone through with the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City as well, there’s no denying that it was a difficult time for the former housewife.

However, it seems that Garcia is once again pregnant and expecting to give birth around April 2025. With how soon that is, it is clear that Monica Garcia decided to protect her peace this time around. And she didn’t share the news until she was ready.

As fans of the former RHOSLC housewife, we don’t blame her for being more private this time around. In an exclusive from People magazine, she confirmed the reason why she was so private this time and it made perfect sense. According to Monica, “I’m grateful for those who have stood beside me, to the amazing fans, and loved ones I do have in my life, but that pregnancy was my lowest point with being in the public eye, and I wasn’t going to put myself through that again, for the sake of the pregnancy and the baby.”

It makes perfect sense that she might not want to share that news until she was much further along. And considering she’s no longer on RHOSLC, it also makes sense that she might want to be more private with her life. Monica Garcia does not owe anyone, anything. While she may share some details of her life, she isn’t technically a public figure anymore.

That doesn’t mean that we don’t want her back on the series in the future. And considering Whitney Rose apparently spoke to her at some point during season five, it would be interesting to see her make a return to our screens. But at this point, her pregnancy is her own and we don’t blame her for being more private in terms of her pregnancy, relationships, and life in general.

All of this to say, we are very excited for Monica Garcia. We hope that she has a healthy and happy final few weeks of her pregnancy. And hopefully, we will get to see more of Monica in the future.
