If you have been watching The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City since season 1 then you likely know that this is a cast that has been through it. And part of the drama with this cast stemmed from the legal issues around former cast member, Jen Shah. While the relationship between Shah and the other housewives seemed to have fallen apart, things may be shifting.

In fact, it sounds like there could be a fascinating reconciliation between Meredith Marks and Jen Shah happening. While Shah is still in prison, it seems that the former RHOSLC star has had a phone call with her former costar.

According to Reality Tea, during an interview with People Magazine, Marks revealed that she is still speaking to Jen Shah. In fact, they have even spoken on the phone. Recently there was a chat between the two that Meredith described as being “very light.”

Jen Shah and Meredith Marks have been reconnecting while the former is in prison

As she explained, you are only allowed to have a 10-minute call. And that call has been recorded, as it is a government-monitored discussion. According to Marks, she is not really sure what she’s allowed to share from those phone calls. So she did admit that their conversations are relatively surface level.

In general, it seems that they talk about their families and how they are doing. Not only did Marks say that she was actually happy to hear Shah's voice on the phone, but she also shared that, "she sounds like she’s doing well. She sounds like she’s really working on herself. And I was glad to hear that."

It is honestly a bit of a shock to see these two women actually talking again, but at the same time, it makes sense that Marks would reach out to the other woman as they were apparently friends before RHOSLC began. Now we just have to see if this renewed relationship continues, especially once Shah is released from prison, especially since she is set for an early release in 2027.
