RHOP's Karen Huger is set to make an appearance in Beyond the Gates

The Grand Dame of Potomac is heading Beyond the Gates! That's right, there is a new role on the horizon for The Real Housewives of Potomac's Karen Huger. And thanks to a trailer for the upcoming soap opera series, we have our first look at the Housewives' cameo moment.

For anyone unfamiliar with what exactly Beyond the Gates is, it is actually an upcoming soap opera set to premiere later this month on CBS. The series is set in a suburb in Maryland with plenty of money and drama. Basically, it sounds like the perfect setting for a housewife to arrive.

So what exactly do we know about Karen Huger's Beyond the Gates moment? Well, not that much actually. Instead, it is all about the cameo moment in the trailer.

In the trailer for the soap opera, we see Karen welcoming people to the suburb, Fairmont Crest. And she makes her point with a bit of a snap and sass. It is exactly what we would expect from the self-proclaimed Grand Dame, and yet we have a feeling it will absolutely work for the series. After all, soap operas are known for their drama and their housewives.

As The Daily Dish pointed out, while we know that Karen Huger will be making an appearance on Beyond the Gates, there has not been a lot of information revealed about her role. In fact, we have no idea how many episodes she might appear in, who she is portraying, or if she will literally just be making a true cameo appearance.

No matter how much of a presence Karen Huger ends up having in the series, it is clear that even this brief moment has been enough to get people talking.

While Karen Huger was barely even in the teaser, it definitely caught a lot of people's attention. And the comments reflected that, with one person straight up asking if that was "the Grand Dame."

So it might come as no surprise that the Beyond the Gates social media team decided to play this up. They love that RHOP fans immediately clocked Huger as being part of the teaser. And they decided to have a little fun with that in a separate Instagram post.

No matter how big or small of a presence the RHOP star has in Beyond the Gates, we are here for Huger stepping beyond the gates of Potomac. And we can't wait to see how things play out in this new soap opera.

Considering she has been surrounded by drama over the last few years, it just seems fitting to have her popping up on a soap opera. We just love that it also happens to be a brand new soap with a truly diverse cast.
