RHONY's Jenna Lyons wore a black bathrobe for her reunion look and she shared why

On January 16, the looks for the Season 15 reunition for The Real Housewives of New York debuted. And one look has definitely gotten people talking. That would be the black bathrobe ensemble worn by Jenna Lyons.

Lyons took a black bathrobe and elevated it to new heights with stunning shoes, sunglasses, and a touch of class that she always exudes no matter what she is wearing. Of course, it probably helps that the bathrobe is from Balenciaga, which adds a touch of elegance to the look that likely has to do with that designer label.

To complete her look she had her hair in a headwrap. And in case you were curious, the shoes were pointed-toe heels from Louboutin that feature a silver ankle wrap.

But what did Jenna Lyons have to say about her RHONY reunion look? Speaking to The Daily Dish, the housewife shared that, "I just wanted to do something unexpected and playful! I can't compete in the sexy dress category!"

Considering Lyons has no problem being distinctly herself, this look made perfect sense. And we love that she was all about going for a more playful reunion look. Sometimes it is fun to see the housewives' personalities on the reunion couches, and this is no exception.

Unsurprisingly, Andy Cohen had his own thoughts on the look. And we are here for them. On his Instagram story, the reunion host shared a picture of Jenna Lyons in her black bathrobe look with the caption, "[Jenna Lyons'] reunion look DID. ME. IN."

We definitely think that she pulled the bathrobe look off in a way that was classy and elegant, while also being fun and outside of the box. Was this a look we expected? Not at all. But we love that she decided to give us such a unique reunion look.

Now that we have seen Lyons' reunion look, we can't wait to see how things went down at the RHONY reunion as a whole. It likely won't be nearly as fun and exciting as this bathrobe moment.
