Tom Holland and Zendaya have been fairly private about their relationship, but the glimpses of the Spider-Man stars' relationship that fans have gotten to see have been downright adorable. While rumors about a possible breakup between the two of them started swirling, Tom Holland broke his silence to reassure fans that the two of them are definitely still together.
Zendaya's Instagram behavior has sparked some rumors
After Zendaya unfollowed everyone, Tom included, on Instagram, fans started to worry that it could be a sign of trouble in paradise. Although Tom Holland didn't unfollow his co-star and celebrity girlfriend, fans were still worried that Zendaya including him in her unfollow spree might have meant there was trouble between them.
But, according to TMZ, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Although he didn't get specific about the details of their relationship, he told the outlet that they were "absolutely not" broken up and set fans' hearts at ease once again.
The two met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming
Tom Holland and Zendaya met when they filmed Spider-Man: Homecoming together in 2016 and while they shared flirty posts and messages back and forth to each other since then, it seems like their relationship became official in 2021 when they were spotted kissing and later that year, Tom Holland shared a behind-the-scenes photo on his Instagram account to wish Zendaya a happy birthday.
Although the two of them have been pretty private about the details of their relationship, it's obvious that they have a lot of love for each other and aren't afraid to share it when the time is right.
"She's one of the most incredible people I've ever met. And I love her to bits," Tom Holland told Extra TV when supporting her at the Dune premiere. "So to be here tonight is amazing. I'm delighted to share it with her."
The sweet messages aren't a one-sided thing, either. On her own Instagram account, Zendaya shared a happy picture of herself with the Marvel star to celebrate his birthday and captioned it, "Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest."
