Teresa Giudice and Jeff Lewis had a tense moment during the WWHL 15th anniversary special
On June 30, Watch What Happens Live celebrated its 15th anniversary, a momentous occasion for the series that has given us plenty of iconic moments over the years. And of course, there were some very familiar Bravo faces on set with Andy Cohen to celebrate.
Not only did we get to see Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams, and Jerry O'Connell celebrating the WWHL anniversary, but other guests who appeared on the special included Teresa Giudice and Jeff Lewis. And if you are a longtime Bravo fan or even someone who has been watching WWHL for years, then you know that there has previously been some drama between Giudice and Lewis.
So it makes sense that Cohen decided to do a little bit of digging in regards to how these two are getting on nowadays. Well, this leads to some awkwardness on the set, as it is clear that things are not as good between these two as at least one-half of the duo seems to think.
Teresa Giudice and Jeff Lewis had an awkward exchange on WWHL
As Page Six explained, it started when Andy Cohen asked Teresa and Jeff if they had "squashed their beef" before heading onto the set. While Jeff Lewis said that they were "good" with each other, it was clear that at least for Teresa Giudice, they aren't nearly as good as he thinks.
Teresa explained to the others sitting around them that, "He was saying sorry to me because he said something. But it’s like, if you didn’t mean it, I don’t know why you said it." And of course, Jeff didn't understand the "didn't mean it" part of the comment and came back with that he did mean his apology. So of course, she wanted him to apologize to her in front of everyone.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Jeff Lewis wasn't exactly happy with being put on the spot. And honestly, we don't blame him, especially if he had already apologized to her in private.
Honestly, these two know how to bring the drama, so the fact that they had issues with each other is not that shocking as a fan of Bravo. But at the same time, this bit of awkwardness was definitely not fun to witness, especially with so many people on stage at the time. It just felt unnecessary.
That being said, the WWHL anniversary special was a blast to watch with so many personalities on the stage together. And it was definitely a worthy way to celebrate 15 years of the show.
