As an OG housewife on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice has been on our TVs for years. And that means that her family has been as well. In particular, we have watched her daughters grow up on screen. This includes Gia Giudice, who has actually been a rather large part of Season 14 of RHONJ.

Considering Gia is 23 years old as of 2024, it makes sense that now that she is an adult, she might have more of a presence on RHONJ. And yet, there have been plenty of comments made about Teresa's daughter being part of the show.

During one episode of Season 14, Melissa Gorga, went off about Jenn Fessler even bringing Gia into the conversation. According to Gorga, "She’s a child; why are you talking to a child about adult conversations?" The problem is that Gia isn't a child anymore. And just because some of the housewives see her as one, that doesn't mean that she is. This also means that she gets to speak up for herself if she wants to.

Of course, this conversation also led to Teresa Giudice making her own thoughts on the situation known. And she truly believes that the problem is that some of her castmates are actually jealous.

According to Reality Tea, during a recent appearance on a podcast with Kelly Ripa, Teresa shared what she thinks the problem is.

"Some people get jealous on the show that she’s around, some of my cast members, and it’s like, who cares? ...and she’s not a kid, she’s 23. She’s an adult!" Giudice said.

We actually agree with Teresa here, at least about Gia not being a child anymore. The problem seems to be that so many people have watched Gia Giudice grow up on TV and they can't seem to separate that from who she is now.

Whether or not some of the other housewives are jealous of Gia being on RHONJ, the real issue seems to be that these women can't seem to see that Teresa's daughter is no longer a child. And that means that they aren't actually listening to her or taking her seriously when she talks!

What do you think? Do you think the housewives are jealous of Gia being on the show?
