The Spice Girls were at the top of the pop charts in the 90s after forming in 1994. The British girl group which consisted of Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) disbanded in 2000 after releasing hit songs like "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life" as well as a movie.

Over the years, there's been a lot of rumors about possible future Spice Girls reunions and there have even been a few times that the group reunited. They came back together once for a 2007-2008 tour and again for the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics as well as one more 2019 reunion tour which Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, chose to skip.

Scary Spice called out Posh Spice for missing their last tour

At the moment, it doesn't seem like there are any official, formal plans for the Spice Girls to reunite for another tour or special performance, but it's also not completely off the table for the members of the 90s pop group.

Melanie Brown, also known as Scary Spice, said that she would be totally happy to have another reunion "when the stars are aligned," but she has one condition for a future tour: she wants Victoria Beckham to make it this time.

"And Victoria Beckham is a very famous and very brilliant fashion designer. But she’s also a Spice Girl. Just saying," Mel B said when she was asked about a potential reunion tour for the Spice Girls.

Unfortunately for Scary Spice, it's unclear whether or not her fellow Spice Girl would don her Posh Spice look again to go on tour in the future. According to the soccer star's wife, she's focused on a new part of her life now and that's why she chose not to be part of

"It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: 'You know, I'm not doing it because things feel different now than they used to'," she said and went on to explain that she's happy to be a mom and fashion designer now instead of the pop star she once was.

Despite choosing to skip the tour, Beckham still shared a throwback shot of the group performing on her Instagram account and wished them well on their tour before they head out to perform around the UK in 2019.

Even though Victoria Beckham chose not to get on stage during their 2019 tour, there's still a chance that the group could have a full reunion in the future. Mel B is on board, so hopefully she can get the rest of the group to agree to go out and spice up the world with another nostalgic reunion tour.
