Olivia Flowers will not be back for season 10 of Southern Charm

Southern Charm might be coming back for a tenth season on Bravo, but not everyone in the cast will be returning with the show. In a recent podcast appearance on “Scheananigans With Scheana Shay,” Olivia Flowers revealed that she will not be back for season 10.

According to Page Six, it seems that Flowers decided to bring up Southern Charm while chatting during the podcast. And specifically, she mentioned that she now has a lot more free time in her schedule. The reality star explained that she was "not on this new season."

However, it seems that the decision to not be part of Southern Charm season 10 was not her choice. Instead, it sounds like Olivia Flowers was let go by Bravo. Flowers told Scheana Shay, "A lot of people think I made the choice, like, I have this new relationship and I’m choosing another path." Except that is not what happened.

Flowers was apparently told about the decision a few weeks before filming on the new season began. But what was the reason for this firing? It sounds like production felt like the star was not actually in Charleston as much as they would have wanted. And considering that is where Southern Charm is filmed, it makes perfect sense that if she is spending more time in Texas instead, she might not be the right fit for the show anymore.

We all know that not all reality TV is actual reality, but at the same time, if you aren't at least living and working in the primary city where your show is set, it doesn't make sense to have you be a part of the program.

While Olivia Flowers might be a bit upset over being let go and not realizing that living her life authentically was to her reality TV detriment, that doesn't mean we won't see her again in the future. All things considered, there are so many reality shows on Bravo where she could pop back up. Although we might not get to see what comes next for her on Southern Charm, that doesn't mean we might not see her on our TVs in the future.
