Is Stranger Things actor Joe Keery working on a song with Taylor Swift? After he was spotted at the same recording studio she uses in New York City, fans started to think they might be. Although the actor can't confirm that the two of them have been making music together, he did tell the story of his "confusing" day at the studio on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

According to Keery, he was at the studio when he saw a ton of people outside and had no idea what was going on -- and he was definitely not the person they were there waiting to see!

"I walked out the door, and it was like 1,000 people were standing out there. People looked at me expecting Taylor, and were like, 'Who's this guy?'" He told the late night host that people realized after he left that he's the actor from Stranger Things. Still, he definitely wasn't who the gathering Swifties were waiting to see.

Even though Keery wasn't there to work with Taylor Swift on a song for her next album, he says he's hopeful that maybe being at the studio she uses could turn into something in the future. He said, "Maybe that would generate something. Maybe that experience generated something in the universe, but I don't know."

Aside from starring in the Netflix TV series Stranger Things, Joe Keery also releases music under then name Djo and makes upbeat, electronic tracks. His music is a pretty different vibe from that of Taylor Swift, but the "Cruel Summer" singer has had some pretty surprising collaborations in the past, like Ice Spice and Bon Iver, so it's safe to say that nothing is out of the question.

Since Joe Keery is busy with Stranger Things and Fargo, so Swifties likely aren't going to hear a collaboration between these two stars any time soon. Luckily, Joe Keery also revealed that Stranger Things will start filming the fifth and final season starting in 2024 and that although he can't share any big secrets, he's seen some of the scripts already.
