How Simone Biles treated herself in Paris after winning Olympic gold

 Simone Biles proved why she is known as the GOAT at the Paris Olympic Games. Not only did she lead the U.S. gymnastics team to a gold medal, but she also earned herself a gold medal in the All-Around as well. And that doesn't even take into account the other two medals she earned on the Vault and Floor Routine.

So what does an Olympian like Biles do after cementing her place in history and becoming one of the most decorated gymnasts in U.S. history? Well, they treat themselves to a Hermes bag, of course.

According to Page Six, Simone Biles took to her Instagram Stories on August 9 to share a look at what she was up to while in Paris. Not only did she feature a picture of a gorgeous Hermes handbag, but there was also a picture of the iconic orange box, which seemingly contained the new addition to Biles' closet.

While Biles may not have shared exactly what she purchased for herself at the Hermes store in Paris, it is clear that she is in love with what she decided to treat herself with. And we expect nothing less. There is something special about rewarding yourself, especially after something as amazing as competing in and winning medals at the Olympics.

I love that Biles decided to spend her remaining time in Paris doing things outside of the Olympics, even as we have seen her taking in other sporting events (she sat with Snoop Dogg during some of the Track and Field events on August 8). And the fact that she decided to not only visit a Hermes store while in Paris, but also treat herself to something special makes perfect sense after all the hard work and dedication that led to her multiple gold medals (and a silver medal as well).

We can't wait to see what comes next for Biles and if that includes any more shopping trips in Paris.
