The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City recently finished its fifth season and the series has remained a favorite for Bravo and Housewives fans. And we love to see it. But apparently, the series has some famous fans as well. And one of those famous fans is none other than John Oliver.

On February 18, a video was shared by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on their YouTube channel that featured Oliver being interviewed by the late-night host. The discussion turned to how John Oliver finds ways to relax. One thing he does is watch football (soccer for those of us in the U.S.). While it seems he is also out here watching RHOSLC on Bravo as well.

When sharing that he watches RHOSLC, he straight up calls it a "spectacular show." And if that comes as a surprise at all, then wait until you hear what else he had to say about the series.

While telling Stephen Colbert that he will have to sit down with him and give him more of a backstory on the show and the women, Oliver went on to say, "I’ll give you the entire backstory of these absolute maniac women, why they are so funny and why a significant portion of them are going to prison. It’s fantastic television. In fact, I’m really here to promote not just HBO but The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is on Bravo."

Clearly, John Oliver is a fan of the series and we love that for him. It is also fascinating to realize that he can likely break down the whole series to people who haven't watched it, especially since he referenced former housewife Jen Shah in his prison comment. Obviously he knows the show and what has happened over the course of the first five seasons.

Now we really want to know who his favorite housewife is and if he has thoughts on the endless Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose feud. Or perhaps we need to know what he thinks of our RHOSLC newbie, Bronwyn Newport. Then again, it might be interesting to really dive into that prison comment. Either way, we just really appreciate that John Oliver is out here sharing his love of RHOSLC and the ladies with Stephen Colbert and his audience.
