While The Real Housewives of New York City's Dorinda Medley might have been the first faithful murder by the traitors on Season 3 of The Traitors, it seems like she is loving all the fallout from that decision. Instead of being ousted and forgotten, it seems like Dorinda's murder has created an interesting backlash.
According to US Weekly, the RHONY star was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 20. And during that appearance, she spoke about being the first person murdered in the castle for Season 3.
So what did she have to say about her time on the series and what went down since the episode where the traitors ousted her aired?
Dorinda Medley told Jimmy Fallon, "If you are going to get ‘murdered’ early on, I did it right, because the outrage, I have to say, I’ve really enjoyed." And we have to say that she is not wrong. Plus, the way Bob the Drag Queen acted like he had no clue who she was, it makes sense that there would be even more outrage from fans.
She also shared how people have reacted to her in person as well. Medley shared, "I went to Rise the other day, which is a gay bar on Ninth Avenue [in Manhattan], and the amount of homage I got for being [‘murdered’] … they really thought I died! People were like, ‘Oh, my God!’ like I was Jesus Christ that had risen. It was beautiful. I said, ‘I didn’t really die in Scotland.’"
Honestly, we loved that Dorinda was even chosen for the series and we really wish she would have had a chance to give us more (including a look at her fashion) on The Traitors. Maybe we will get a chance to see her make a return appearance in a future season, similar to what happened with Kate Chastain in Season 2.
But at this point, we love that Dorinda Medley is loving how people are reacting to her time on The Traitors. Considering she was the first person out of the game, it makes sense that she might appreciate how her fans have reacted to her untimely murder.
