This week fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey were all abuzz as news apparently broke that there had been decisions made as to who would appear in Season 15 of the series. Considering the show is on hiatus while production figures out its next step, the idea that we were finally getting some news was definitely exciting for many.

A viral report from OK! magazine had claimed that decisions had been made and that not only were two housewives returning for Season 15, but another would be getting a spinoff series. In the report, it was stated that Delores Catania and Melissa Gorga would be back for Season 15, while Teresa Giudice would be getting her own show. This news sent fans scrambling to social media to share their thoughts.

However, a new report from US Weekly has cleared up the rumors. And it turns out that they are just that, rumors. Considering The Daily Dish from Bravo hasn't even mentioned Season 15 of RHONJ in a while, we are definitely going with the newest report from US Weekly that made it clear that no determinations had been made and production has not yet reached out to any members of the cast to discuss the future.

The women of RHONJ may have spoken to production, but there is no official news yet on Season 15

According to US Weekly, it seems that the ladies of RHONJ have in fact spoken to production, but that's it. They have apparently shared what they want to do when it comes to Season 15 and that is all. Production has not made any decisions as of yet, which means that we have no clue who might actually be returning or if an entirely new cast will step up and represent the Garden State.

Looking at how fans reacted to the rumored casting decisions, it doesn't seem like a Delores and Melissa-led show is really what the majority wants. While there were certainly some fans who seemed to like the idea of these two women coming back, there were plenty of people who seemed put off by the rumored decision.

In December, Andy Cohen made it clear that there would not be any answers about RHONJ for a while and that he wanted people to stop asking about it. So it is unlikely that we would have any answers this soon after that statement. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if this actually sets things back further, as they wait for the rumors to die down some.

We may be waiting eagerly for RHONJ news, but until we hear it from Bravo themselves we won't believe anything that is said about Season 15. Now here's hoping we do get some actual news soon.
