Candiace Dillard Bassett "ready for more" kids after welcoming first child with husband

Former Real Housewives of Potomac star, Candiace Dillard Bassett, is a new mom. On Oct. 3, the former housewife welcomes her son, Jett, into the world, and now it sounds like the baby fever is on.

According to Reality Tea, Candiace and her husband, Chris, are truly living their best life now that their son has arrived. And we love that for them. While they held off on officially sharing the news of their baby's birth with the world, it is clear that they have taken the time to really get into what being parents to a newborn means.

And while there is likely the stress of late-night feedings, bodily functions, and plenty of crying, none of that matters. In fact, it seems like Candiace might just be ready for another baby.

After announcing the news with the help of People, it seems that the RHOP star has shared just how in love she is with her baby.

"He is just the cutest little thing. Chris and I couldn’t be happier. It’s so cliché to say, but he’s brought such joy to our lives in ways I never would have been able to describe before. It’s pure love!" Bassett gushed.

But that is not all she had to say, as she also revealed that she is currently feeling like she wants to have more babies. While she may have doubted that she was ready before (if you have been a longtime viewer of RHOP, then you know she struggled with being ready to become a mom), it is clear that Candiace is not only happier than ever, but ready to expand her family.

"Oh, I wish I started sooner because I already want more. And that’s a shocking feeling to admit because I hesitated and was afraid and doubted myself for so long. All of those circumstances around becoming a mom, like being pregnant, raising a child, etc.? It really scared me. But it’s been everything and more. I love it," she added.

As fans of Candiace and her husband, we are happy for them and the way they are expanding their family. And while we are sad not to see the couple back on our screens for this season of RHOP, we are also loving that they are getting this time to be together as a family away from the cameras as well.
