Oldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, North West, may only be 10 years old, but she already has dreams of a big future. In an interview with i-D, North West once said she planned to own both SKIMS and Yeezy in the future and that she would like to do art, rap, and play basketball when she grows up.
With the release of Kanye West’s album Vultures, North can finally check one of those goals off her growing to do list: rapper.
According to Genius, North West is featured on a song called “You Don’t Want (North Interlude)” and even seemed to debut a rap stage name in the track.
Shared on her dad’s Instagram account, a video shows North dancing on stage at the Vultures listening party and lip syncing for the crowd to a verse that features her vocals. In the verse, the young star sings, “I love it here / We’re gonna take over another year / It’s your bestie Miss, Miss Westie” before her verse repeats itself.
Despite being young, the famous child already has Kanye West’s fans excited, both for his album and for her to be making her debut with a track of her own. According to mom Kim Kardashian, she’s already quite a young mogul, so it seems like her budding rap skills may not be so surprising after all.
In an interview with GQ, Kim Kardashian talked about how her daughter will hold lemonade stands and if a famous family friend stops by, she’ll refuse to give them change and pocket any bill they give her.
"She has a table and chairs and fans to keep herself cool. She makes signs. She stays there hours and hours. Her friends help, so she splits the money with them. If a random person stops, she will charge them only $2. If she knows you, she will fully scam you. I’ll get calls from my friends saying she charged them $20 for a lemonade. She’ll grab their $20 and say, ‘I don’t have any change.’"
In addition to her possible future as a budding rapper and her questionable business practices with her lemonade stand, North West’s name was used for trademark filings in 2019 and 2023 for a clothing line, a skincare line, and a toy brand. Although none of them have been utilized as of yet, it’s hard to say what the future holds.
