Tom Sandoval ‘fought’ for Rachel Leviss after Scandoval

Vanderpump Rules‘ Tom Sandoval was recently featured as a guest on the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, hosted by Teddi Mellencap Arroyave and Tamra Judge. During the podcast episode, he opened up about his life post-Scandoval, the affair scandal that rocked the Vanderpump Rules fandom when it was revealed that Tom had been cheating on then-long term girlfriend Ariana Madix with Rachel (Raquel) Leviss.

According to Tom, he made some huge lifestyle changes in order to try to show Rachel that he was serious about making things continue to work between the two of them post-Scandoval.

He told the podcast hosts, “I fought so hard for Rachel. I stopped drinking. I stopped smoking cigarettes because she went away to a facility. I’m like, ‘She can’t drink, she can’t smoke. I’m gonna quit.'”

Following the massive wave of backlash that the pair were facing after it was revealed that Rachel and Tom were having an affair behind Ariana’s back, Rachel left the show and eventually checked herself into a mental health facility.

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval had been dating for nearly a decade when she found proof on his phone that he had been in a months-long affair with their co-star and the news shook the cast and viewers alike.

Unfortunately for the “fighting” Tom Sandoval is claiming that he did for his future with Rachel Leviss, it’s reported that she completely cut ties with the cast, including Tom. Things were so serious that she even attempted to file for a restraining order against co-star Scheana Shay, but the case was dismissed.

Where do Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix stand post-Scandoval?

While he was trying to win back Rachel Leviss — who recently announced she would be releasing a podcast in January 2024 that tells her side of Scandoval, he admits that he’s not in such a good place with Ariana Madix.

He said that the two of them aren’t living together anymore and that she’s “staying in some place” and that there’s been some serious financial strain in their split.

“Every single month, all the bills come out of my accounts. The mortgage comes out of my account every month,” Tom Sandoval revealed on the podcast while discussing where his relationship with Ariana Madix stands now. “So, while Ariana’s shooting all these ads, she’s six months behind in bills.”

Tom Sandoval also said he “hopes” that Rachel Leviss loved him before she ran away from Vanderpump Rules and ended their affair, but says he doesn’t know. Sounds like Tom, like the rest of us, will have to wait for Rachel Goes Rogue premieres to hear what was going on inside Rachel Leviss’ mind during Scandoval.
