Newcomer to the latest season of RHOP, Nneka Ihim has been stirring things up with Wendy Osefo. But when she’s not getting into drama each week on our TV screens, Nneka Ihim is still hard at work with a new multifaceted husband, a law degree, a dating app, a wine brand, and other business ventures. How does she do it all?

“I come as I am. And what I am, honey, is remarkable,” Nneka Ihim was already full of personality in the introduction video shared by Bravo TV when the season started and she joined on as a main cast member. The new RHOP housewife is a newlywed to Dr. Ikenna Ihim and, like her husband, is a first generation Nigerian-American.

Prior to moving to Potomac and being cast as a member of the Real Housewives of Potomac series, she got her law degree and spent time working as a student lawyer for Legal Services of South Central Michigan Inc. (L.S.S.C.M.) before spending several years working as an attorney in California.

Nneka Ihim’s many business ventures

In 2020, Nneka Ihim launched a dating app, HelloAfrica, which she said is designed to connect single African people from around the world with filters to find people from specific countries. Even though Nneka already found her happily ever after with her husband, she’s dedicated to helping other people find their perfect person, too, and says that she was inspired by her own experience dating as a first generation Nigerian-American.

People who meet their future spouse on HelloAfrica can celebrate their new relationship with Nneka’s other big business: Bido. According to Bido’s website, the name of this brand is related to her Nigerian background:

"Nneka’s named her first collection Bido because in her native language of Igbo it means to start or begin, and Nneka wants to encourage others that people can start any aspect of their life at any time they chose. And whenever one does choose to begin, that moment is worth celebrating."

Nneka hopes to start a family in the future with her husband, but for now, she’s happy to just live a comfortable live in Potomac and be part of the RHOP cast and all the drama that comes with that.
