Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are going back to where it started for 10th wedding anniversary

Can you believe that Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are getting ready to celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary? Considering their relationship started on reality TV and has continued to be a big part of their story over the last 12 years (since they started dating in 2011), it might come as a surprise to some that Burruss and Tucker have truly gone the distance.

And in honor of their 10-year wedding anniversary, it seems as if the RHOA stars have big plans in store for the celebration. So what better way to celebrate their 10th anniversary than with a trip back to where it all began for them?

According to Reality Tea, in April Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker will be heading back to Africa to relive the trip that started it all for them. For anyone unfamiliar with this couple’s origin story, they met when the RHOA cast took a trip to Cape Town, South Africa. Todd worked behind the scenes on the series and was along for the trip when Kandi caught his attention.

Apparently, the plan for the trip is for the couple to relive that fateful meeting, which means going to many of the same spots that the RHOA cast visited originally. When asked about the trip and their plans for it, Kandi Burruss shared that: “we’re trying to go back there and hit all the spots that we did with the ladies on the show, and they may not… I don’t know if they’re coming, but we’ll be there. So yeah, I want to do that.”

Honestly, it would almost be fitting if the ladies did join the trip as it really would be a full-circle experience. Of course, the faces of the RHOA housewives have certainly changed with them, so it wouldn’t be the exact same as it was, but maybe that is not a bad thing.

Then again, we can’t imagine inviting the RHOA ladies to join a wedding anniversary trip, especially since this is not the same group of ladies.

It will be interesting to see what happens on this wedding anniversary trip if the other RHOA ladies join the party. And of course, we have to just point out that we are thrilled to see Kandi and Todd making it to such an amazing milestone in their relationship as it means that love has definitely won for them.
