Rachel Leviss promises “my side of the story” in new podcast
By Lacey Womack
Vanderpump Rules alum Rachel Leviss, formerly known as Raquel Leviss, has been quiet since her affair with Tom Sandoval came to light, but she’s back in the spotlight with the announcement of a new podcast and her first red carpet appearance since the blowout drama that fans dubbed “Scandoval.”
The description for the podcast announced by Rachel Leviss, premiering on iHeartRadio, promises to take fans of the Bravo TV series inside Scandoval and show them a side of what happened they haven’t heard before.
"You’ve seen the story and read the articles. You may think you know me. But you don’t know anything yet. For the first time, I’m ready to tell you the real story. I’ve stayed quiet long enough, it’s time to come clean. On my own terms. This is MY story. I’m going to tell you what’s true, what’s false and the secrets I’ve been waiting to reveal. Yes, I’ve made mistakes. But what you think you know isn’t reality. It’s time to see “REALITY” through a different lens. And you might just be surprised by what you learn. I’ve stayed quiet for too long, but now…Rachel Goes Rogue."
The podcast is set to premiere in January and will detail Rachel Leviss’ experiences with being on reality TV and to bring awareness to mental health issues, having struggled herself with the backlash that she was met with online following the news of her cheating scandal with Tom Sandoval becoming public.
Rachel Leviss’ return to the red carpet
Outside of posting on social media, Rachel Leviss has been lying low since March when she made her last public appearance — an episode of Bravo TV’s Watch What Happens Live that was taped just days before the news of her months long affair with Tom Sandoval became public and the fallout of his breakup with then-girlfriend Ariana Madix happened.
On December 1, Rachel Leviss stepped back into the spotlight by making her first appearance on the red carpet since the news broke at the 2023 Jingle Ball. Although she’s been on social media and auctioned off some Scandoval-centric items, she hasn’t made major public appearances in months. It seems like she’s ready to step back into the spotlight with her appearance at the Jingle Ball and the announcement of her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue.
Whether or not Vanderpump Rules fans are ready to hear what she has to say remains to be seen.
