For some viewers, Lacey Chabert might just be the new queen of the Hallmark channel. And we love that for her (and us). Now she has her own series heading to the network and it is apparently a first for the channel.

According to US Weekly, Chabert will be hosting the first unscripted show for the channel. The show is called Celebrations with Lacey Chabert and it is a series about planning a party to celebrate people who have made a positive impact on their community.

The celebration will be put together in just three days with the help of family members, party planners, and other people in the community who volunteer to assist with putting things together. And considering this is the first time that Hallmark is diving into unscripted TV, it makes sense that they would want to work with a staple of the network.

Lacey Chabert will be hosting her own unscripted series for Hallmark

Lisa Hamilton Daly, who is the executive vice president of Hallmark Media programming, explained that, “The Hallmark brand lends itself to a wide array of opportunities to tell stories that bring inspiration, comfort, joy, and happiness to our viewers, so tapping into this genre allows us to evolve and expand our programming footprint in incredibly rewarding ways.”

So what did Lacey Chabert have to say about the news? The actress took to Instagram to share her excitement and even gave us a hint of when we will be able to watch Celebrations with Lacey Chabert.

In the post she shared, “It’s been such a joy to celebrate people who are heroes in their communities alongside our extraordinary event planners @lapartystylists. I can’t wait to share this show with you next year on @hallmarkmoviesnow.”

I know that I am excited about this series as I am a big fan of Chabert and her work. From Party of Five to Mean Girls, she has always brought something special to all of her roles. And we can’t wait to see what she does with an unscripted series celebrating people who are all about making a positive change in their community.
