A lot has changed on The Real Housewives of New Jersey over the years, in particular in the life of Teresa Giudice and her family. One of the major events, of course, was the indictment that sent both herself and her ex-husband Joe Giudice to prison.

As faithful viewers of RHONJ, we have watched the Giudice journey from the start to now. And we all know about how Joe ended up getting deported to Italy after his prison sentence was over. Since then, he has moved to the Bahamas, making it easier for his daughters to come visit.

However, that does not take away from the fact that his daughters would love to see him come home to the United States. And it turns out, they are not the only Giudice women who would like to see his return. In fact, Teresa Giudice has talked about wanting Joe to return to the US as well.

But why does Teresa want him to return? It’s not just to reunite their family, especially since she has moved on with her new husband, Louie Ruelas.

Why does Teresa Giudice want to see Joe Giudice back in the States?

According to Reality Tea, on Teresa Giudice’s podcast, Namaste B$tches, she revealed that she would like to see Joe Giudice back in the US for the opportunities it would provide him since that would mean he could also help out financially.

The RHONJ staple explained to listeners,

"I hope he does [come back to America], because trust me, the opportunities are better in America, and I’ve been doing everything on my own … I want help. The money that he makes in the Bahamas is not the same money he would make in America. Totally different. That’s why he moved from Italy to the Bahamas. Because there was no opportunity in Italy. Could you imagine just being sent to another country after living in America for all of these years? It’s very sad."

Considering the couple has four daughters, with two already in college, it makes perfect sense that Teresa would want some financial support from the father of her children. And children are expensive to begin with. So having that extra money makes sense for the family.

Of course, we don’t know if Joe Giudice will ever be able to come back to the United States. But hopefully, there will be good news for the family in the future.
