It’s been an interesting year for Paris Hilton and following the release of her memoir, Paris: The Memoir, it seems she is also getting the biopic treatment.

According to US Weekly, in September Hilton confirmed the news of the biopic centered around her memoir, and now we know who will be contributing to the production of this film. That is because Dakota and Elle Fanning’s production company, Lewellen Pictures, will be producing the series.

Considering all of the details that Paris Hilton divulged in her memoir, it is no surprise that people might be interested in watching things play out on screen. And the apparent success of other biopics around current celebrities, including people like David Beckham and Prince Harry, means that there is likely plenty of interest around Hilton herself.

The Paris Hilton biopic will be produced by Elle and Dakota Fanning’s production company

Although we do not know how involved Paris Hilton will be in the production of her memoir, or if we will see her on screen, we do know that she is listed as a producer for the series. It should be interesting to see how involved she really is and if she will be an onscreen part of the production.

Much like the memoir itself, the series will focus on events in Hilton’s life and the things that she has experienced in her life. Considering the official summary of the book reads, “From the woman who is credited for launching what we know as the celebrity-focused, ‘brand-driven, social media obsessed popular culture of today, comes an honest and surprising memoir that reckons with that truth, and shows that there is so much more to Paris Hilton than you might believe,” we expect to see a lot of open, honesty about her life and how she has impacted pop culture.

We also expect to see some of the darker aspects of her life on screen, which will be interesting. All in all, we still have a while to go before this project truly comes together, but at least we know more about the production company behind the scenes.
