Kim Zolciak is returning to reality TV but it’s not on the network you think

When it comes to reality TV starts, the Real Housewives are in a category all their own. And this includes former RHOA star, Kim Zolciak.

From an attempt at a music career, her own series, and of course time on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Zolciak has been an interesting fixture in the world of Reality TV for years now. However, it has been a while since we have actually seen her on our TV screens, outside of reruns of her series, Don’t Be Tardy.

However, it looks like Kim Zolciak is getting ready to return to the small screen, but it won’t be on Bravo!

Kim Zolciak is making her reality TV return with the help of MTV

It turns out that Zolciak is about to be an MTV reality star, according to TMZ. As the outlet reports,

"Kim has signed a deal to appear as one of the cast members for the upcoming 8th season of “The Surreal Life.”"

So who else will be part of this new season of The Surreal Life? Other reported cast members of the series include Macy Gray, Johnny  Weir, Chet Hanks, and Josie Canseco to name a few.

Production is set to begin this month in Colombia, and reports state that Zolciak has already flown down with other members of the cast. Of course, the news of her reality TV return comes at the same time as she is apparently getting a divorce from her husband of 12 years, Kroy Biermann, and also dealing with financial difficulties.

Kim Zolciak’s return to reality TV, even if it is on MTV might be good news for her in terms of potentially dealing with those finance rumors. And it could be a step in the right direction for her in terms of a possible return to the Bravo family as well.

Whether or not Zolciak will ever return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta, at the very least we will get to see her interacting with other celebs on our screen again with The Surreal Life.
