If Hollywood had saints, these celebrities would make the list
In today’s day and age, being of celebrity and/or multi-millionaire status conventionally earns you an assumption from the rest of the world that you are greedy, uninvolved, and tone deaf. In the sea of many that accurately exhibit the consensus’ assumptions, there are some good eggs.
What makes a celebrity a good person?
Well, that’s an objective question. But generally speaking, the qualities that most acclaimed “good people” of Hollywood have are: involvement with charities, close familial relationships, expression of understanding the 98% of others not of their status, etc.
I’m sure there are many in the industry who, at heart, align with what the world would consider to be genuine but are either depicted as the opposite or simply choose not to make the public eye aware of their good deeds.
There are, however, a few celebrities that have made their good intentions and societal efforts clear in humble ways, and because that’s hard to do, they’re deserving of some recognition.
1. Adam Sandler
Everyone knows Adam Sandler. He’s considered to be one of Hollywood’s greatest treasures as it pertains to the movie industry. Sandler has provided classics people can’t seem to ever stop watching, but there’s much more to him than that. One thing many people have pointed out about him, is that he is almost never pictured in anything other than absolutely casual, dressed down clothing.
His charity work runs a long list, but perhaps one of his most down to earth initiatives was where he sent hundreds of PlayStations to children in Israel. It sounds ridiculous, but it’s a subtle reminder of how close to regular life he is, regardless of being one of the most famed male actors.
